Output Level e runtime
The Nitecore TIKI LE has 4 brightness levels for the Main LED CW + 1 level for the Blue LED and 1 level for the Red LED + 1 special combined level Red/Blue:

High: 300 lm (measured 355lm) – 30min
Mid: 60 lm (measured 65 lm) – 1h
Low: 15 lm (measured 15 lm) – 4h
Ultra-Low: 1 lm (measured 1 lm) – 40h

Auxiliary Blu Light: 0.8 lm (measured 1 lm ) – 45min
Auxiliary Red Light: 3 lm (measured 2 lm ) – 1h
Auxiliary Red/Blu Warning Flashing: 1h45min

The body and materials
The Nitecore TIKI LE is a small and light keychain flashlight equipped with an OSRAM P8 main LED capable of delivering 300 lumens to the turbo. It also has two red and blue auxiliary LEDs that can be used as a locator or as signal lights in emergency situations. The red light is also particularly suitable for not tiring the sight when you are in total darkness.

Powered by an internal 3.7V battery with a 130mAh capacity, the Tiki LE can be easily recharged in less than an hour via a simple micro-USB cable (not supplied). The switch of the TIKI LE is made of slightly protruding and very responsive rubber. Very easy to find even in the dark, when pressed it emits a ringing "click".

The body of the TIKI LE is entirely built in semi-transparent ultra-resistant polymeric material, with the exception of the head which is instead in aluminum and therefore allows a perfect dissipation of the heat produced by the LED.

The dimensions are very small: only 5cm in length for a diameter of almost 1.5cm. The weight slightly exceeds 10g.

The USB port is well protected by a rubber cap. A small status LED informs the user about the charging progress.

The tail has a ring that allows you to use the flashlight as a key ring. Its tensile strength is declared up to 30kg in weight (66lbs).

The special body design prevents accidental opening.
The TIKI LE, in its small way, is also a safe product, in fact there are different protections:
• Overcharge Protection
• Over-discharge Protection
• Short-circuit Protection

Thanks to the APC (Advanced Power Cut-Off Technology), the parasitic drain of the TIKI LE is only 1 micro Ampere. This means that the internal battery has a very low self-discharge and that even after months of inactivity it will be able to retain a good part of its capacity.
The main LED is an OSRAM P8 surrounded by a TIR lens. It produces a beam with a well-defined and bright spot and a spill that can be used for very short distances.

The auxiliary LEDs are embedded inside the torch body and radiate light through the semitransparent polymeric material with which the TIKI LE is built. The beam is totally diffused, flood, well spread on the space, ideal for very short distances, as a light point or for example to be visible in emergency situations.

The User interface of the is very easy to remember and can be summarized as follows:

Direct access to the turbo : press and hold the switch. The torch will light up on the Turbo as long as the switch is pressed. It is therefore a Momentary ON on the Turbo level.

Variation of the output : double click to switch on the TIKI LE on the Constant-ON. Each subsequent click will scroll through the various output levels in the order: Ultralow-Low-Mid-High.

Auxiliary LEDs : triple click to turn on the auxiliary LEDs. Each click will cycle through the modes: Red-Blue - Flashing Red / Blue.

The light is water resistant according to the IP66 standard. Impact resistance is given up to 1 meter in height.
On sale there is also another version simply called TIKI and which differs from the TIKI LE (seen in this review) essentially in the following aspects:
• Auxiliary LEDs: NW High CRI + UV
• Head material: stainless steel
• Body color: Gray

With the flashlight also comes a small steel carabiner.

Conclusions
The Nitecore TIKI LE is a small, light and comfortable torch to always carry with you. I find it the perfect torch to attach, for example, to a bunch of keys to always have it at hand.

The power of the main LED is adequate, the High level can be safely used to walk in the dark in complete safety. If necessary, you can always resort to the Turbo level even if for a few minutes. The two auxiliary LEDs have a rather low output but despite this they are clearly visible even from a distance.

The polymeric material with which the TIKI LE is built convinces me, it seems really robust and gives a beautiful feeling of solidity to the touch.

The UI is well done, we have quick access to the Turbo (Momentary ON), 4 levels of brightness, and three levels with the two auxiliary LEDs, all managed by a small and reactive rubberized switch.

Beautiful also aesthetically, it reminds me very much of the Rovyvon Aurora A5 that I own.

Strongly entered on the list among my favorite flashlights, the TIKI LE will ll take the place of the Nitecore Tiny in my bunch of keys!!!

Thanks for reading...

How is the PWM?

I ordered two of them from banggood when they had a great price months ago and still did not get it. Was out of stock for a long time. Anyone else have the same problems?

$20 on Amazon.

Maybe I put this in another thread. I got mine last week, and my eyes can’t pick up the PWM.
