Quick Review Of The Lumintop Tool AA 2.0

I was amazed to see how small a 14500-light with 600 lumens can be. It is way smaller and lighter than the Thorfire TG06 for example, comes with GITD-O-Ring, illuminated switch and a GITD-silicone-diffusor. The simple UI is via reverse clicky on the tail or as twisty. Amazing light for way under 20 USD:

A great EDC and backup-light. I specifically tested the runtime with an alkaline as this is a major selling point of a 14500-light: It takes anything in the AA-format and is therefore great for any type of emergency as you will always find ways to feed it: 6 hours and then still enough light for close-up illumination. So this is the type of backup light you should bring with you especially as it only weighs 42gramms with a 14500-cell!

At what output level did you get that runtime?

I bought the Nichia version on back order a few months ago. Still waiting for them to be in stock. Sounds like a great value.

‘Amazing light for way under 20 USD’

Don’t see it for sale under 20 … where is way under?

I hope it has a better approach so that the interesting things can spread. Useful information.
