I'm boycotting...

...all new DRY reviews until I finally receive mine

Sorry, I know it's a self-centered approach at declaring my feelings, but it needed to be said

I waited a month for my neutral XML Balder SE-1 .

It showed up DOA .

I waited another month for a new driver from Ric.

The whole time I had to hear how cool this light is .

Now that I finally have a working SE-1 , I have to say that I love it . It's my new EDC and although it was torture waiting for it , I'm happy now .

Hang in there .

That little bugger is sure a pain, but when she works she's a pleasure. Balder screwed something up on the driver and hopefully they'll save face with a version 2.0. Actually, I have a replacement driver coming for an XP-E along with my DRY. For now I have two XM-L's (Balder goofed and sent me an XM-L instead of XP-E to replace my DOA).

I'm quite fine waiting for my DRY but I admit I'm being a bratty kid waiting since I was the one who organized this group buy, haha

I know how you feel. It kills the excitement of discovering the light for yourself and has a tendency to wear out the longer you have to wait.

I forgot . . . you are responsible for all this DRYness. Yours should have been the first light shipped. (right behind Foy'sCool)

Anyway, thanks for what you did, it's been plenty DRY at casa deFoy. Hope you get your DRY soon.

I ordered my neutered DRY (low, medium, high, strobe) then they introduced the Turbo mode about a week after I ordered it. I got the light and realized it wasn't any brighter than my Skyray so I ordered the Turbo driver and waited another month for the driver, but it was the wrong one I got another strobe driver. I waited another 6 weeks for the Turbo driver to finally get here and this week I finally got the full effect and man it was worth the wait.

Just get three p60 lights, strap then together and pretend its a DRY until your turns up.

If you pay the shipping, I have a loaner available.

You may choose WW strobe or CW Turbo.
