Found this funky heat change liquid crystal paint, who wouldn’t want a light painted in this?
It’s expensive though! Imagine it on a light - you’d leave hand prints on it and the head would change massively due to heat.

This particular paint seems to be a set temp range, however on their site you can buy a piece of plastic with the spray in between layers and that is available in a wide range of temps.
aliexpress has thermochromic UV-set nail polish gel for $1.21, 7 ml
i am ordering to try

and i already have a gel UV light
(yard sale - very bright)
probably just body-heat range 80F-100F would be my guess {cooler at the fingernails…}
