Wife - Crosswords
Daughter - Bendy thingy to hold her phone, and earrings
Dad - Two flashlights I don’t need

Arrival - dad is busy working in the den. Mom CAREFULLY opens packages and disinfects and has minor conniption at more flashlights. Dad can’t argue that right now flashlights are not much of a priority, but we have TP, paper towels and food already.

The grades:

Folomov C4 Flashlight/Powerbank gets a B. Internally charged included battery to 4.12. Tail magnet works like a magnet. Charged up my iPhone overnight. Turns on and off with long press. Tint is yecch. Charge and discharge through one port so you need two cords to use discharge function. Not too exciting overall but gets a B- because I wanted a decent flashlight combo powerbank and fills the bill.

Ultratac A1 V2 gets a C. Pretty basic, but goes L-M-H-L-M-H… with no memory. Tint, yuck. I would give it a B as seems very utilitarian and I like the UI and otherwise matches up well with the more expensive AA Tool but the tint is so bad - blecch.

well, for our empty-nest household:

1. wife - books.
2. dog - he likes just about anything.
3. me - essentially, “honey do” material.

regarding flashlights, recharging and replacement is the extent of it.

More flashlights and knives I don’t need, mostly. Also just ordered some Chocolate Plague and other stuff from Puckerbutt.

Me: Parts for my custom mountain bike and a Sunwayman V11r from a nice chap on this forum. Should be arriving soon, but I preemptively give them all an A.

Everyone else: Haven’t really been paying attention but I can name of a case of San Pellegrino sparkling waters and a new bed for the golden retriever. A- only because the sparkling water is probably off-limits to me.

1) Wife - 30 electric fence posts, 4ft 6in, £35
2) Horses - they are getting the fence posts, what more so they want, plus they broke the fence in the first place
3) Dogs - sausages and carrots, I’m sure they think the carrots are sausages
4) Me - LG 27UD59 4k monitor, £171 (bargain, but slow delivery)

Technically mine was the only impulse buy. I was looking for a DP to VGA cable. My Samsung 2343 was ghosting with the DP to VGA adapter and cheap cable. I spotted the LG on Amazon warehouse and thought why not. The new cable fixed the ghosting. Might need a new monitor stand next, this one only holds 4.
