Anyone compare these two in hand? I love my sc64w hi, don’t use my sc700d much or ylp cri2m,my emisar d1s gets use though outside, is it worth adding the Le model? Just shooting the breeze.
I have the le but i have fhe page open on zl’s page for the past few months for the hi version. I’m more of a thrower guy so I’m waiting for an answer myself , though the tint of the le is fantastic
The LE will be slightly lower output, a bit floodier, and a bit higher CRI than your current light but overall very similar.
Personally I’d take one of the angled models with the XHP50.2 or 35 over the LE if you already have the 64 HI. Floodier and can be used as a headlamp, but similar max throw as the LE due to higher output (and covers a wider area out to that range of course). The tint of my H600c is not much worse compared to my LE and I like the beam profile more.
An angled light might be the answer. The throw and tint are great on my light, just wasn’t sure if it was that noticable to upgrade. I’ll look at the angled ones.
I own both… temp is slightly different, spot is slightly different, in hand and turned off they are exactly the same.
If you are a collector, sure add it to your collection.
Myself, I just added a used 2 cell ElZetta zfl-m60, and a sc600vn (worth looking up, and still available) to my collection, which also includes a sc700d.
While the sc64c le is nice, the money could’ve been better spent (by me).
Nevertheless a very nice flashlight!!!

ps I’ve heard it said, that the sc64c le, lights heaven…
I apologize, I was talking about what I was looking at online. The headlamp and the SC600 line I haven’t seen in person. I do like that size of the sc64, so going from there. And tend to like floody towards spot-floody more.
Much brighter spill than the SC64 LE or SC600 HI. Similar throw at equal levels as the LE but wider beam. (AKA LE’s 80ish lumen level and H600c’s 120ish compared).
Smoother transition between sections of the beam.
@Geronimo I went with the clear lens version because adding (or removing) diffusion film/DC Fix is easy, but there is no way to remove the frosted lens without very intensive modding on Zebras. I was very surprised by how little tint shift there was with the XHP50.2.
I’d usually rather have a floody lens or TIR than full mule so I’ve never tried one from Zebra. If you want the widest, smoothest beam possible it’s the way to go but the throw will be extremely short of course.
With any mule I’d definitely want a throwier handheld or bike-mounted light to use in combination with it except for very close-up work.
I have the sc600w hi and sc64c LE.
Given the small reflector in the sc64c series, you won’t be getting much throw from it. First and foremost, I would pick based on preferred cct. 4000k and 4500k are quite different.
If you have no preference between the two, I would recommend the Sc64c LE. It will render colors, especially reds, much better, and the floodier beam is great for general EDC.
I will post beam shots of the h600c vs sc64w hi and sc700d. Don’t have a great camera but it should help. Should be later this week when the h600c gets here , got a ylp 2m I haven’t used much I will try to use to. Work and life’s been odd lately lol
