"XHP90" ?

Is there such a thing?

no, its usually found in cheap chinese lights, but their fake

XHP90 is very likely a real Chineese LED

But it has nothing to do with Cree LEDs

If Cree were going to make a larger single LED, I think they’d go with XHP100 (10mm x 10mm).

They tend to double footprint size with each larger series. XHP35 > XHP50 > XHP 70 each have twice the footprint area as the preceding series.

It seems, however, the focus for higher outputs is COB’s or arrays of multiple smaller LED’s.

Often found on zane type of zoomies

They are bright , I had one on a zane copy type zoomie

Mine draw about 5 amps on full power but it definalty wasn’t the 900000 lumens it said it was

It threw very far when zoomed to a point
