I recently lost my Boruit RJ02(which was a brilliant light for the price), and I am looking for its successor.
After reading some some reviews I really liked the new Skillhunt H04, but I was wondering if maybe there is a H04 equivalent that has a feature of accessory red light so mosquitos dont eat me alive??
Nitecore HC65M seems nice but it’s a bit too expensive, i would like to spend $40 tops.
The D25 doesn’t have a red light, but acto a lot of people, warm-white is almost as good.
Me, I’m like sugar to them, so I could be in total darkness and they’ll still find me.
(And whydya think I bought like 6 RJ02s?

I had a similar requirement and ordered both the hc65 and the ArmyTek Wizard WR. With the 30% discount that would be pretty close to what you want to spend. Haven’t been able to try either Both arrive Tue.
Update: ArmyTek puts out an amazing amount of red light great headlamp! HC65 is also nice, very even useable red and hicri light Aux lights and a nice head thrower white light when you need it.
I have several Coast FL75’s and I like them a lot. 3 AAA with focusable white LED and two red leds. Lightweight and works well. I got mine at Costco Canada for about 20.00 for 2, batteries included - COAST FL75 700 Lumen Rechargeable Dual Power Focusing Headlamp – COAST Products
Dee-oh… I forgot to add above, with the D25, you can pull the pcbs with whatever LEDs are on them, and swap in the WW (2700K, 2200K and even 2000K) LEDs of your choice, on a pair of 16mm boards.
Again, not red, but close enough, and much better color-rendition vs monochromatic red.
