Work lights?

I work in the plumbing trade and my supply house had a few of these as samples. The cyclops and lumenator looked pretty bright and sturdy. Any brands the forum recommends for these type of work lights? thanks.

I use the cheap walmart.

You can get the Maxxeon cheaper at Walmart.

I don’t like working with any light on the floor. It seems like it’s constantly blinding you or you’re working in your shadow because the lights behind you. If you need battery powered light for multiple people then maybe that type is a good choice. But for just myself I prefer a headlamp. I keep a minimum of two in the work truck. Plus a variety pack of handheld lights and all but one use an 18650 battery.

I concur. Any work light always seems to put anything I’m working on in the shadow. I sometimes take a few work lights (cheap 120v work-lights) and point them at the ceiling to get a nice diffused source of light.
Something like that and a nice floody headlamp is nice to work with.
Also, the OPs link, those lights seem awful expensive unless the quality and real life specs are way better than the typical COB lights seen everywhere.
All the Best,
Jeff
