SUCH THING AS A FLASHLIGHT TRADE SHOW IN THE USA ?

Folks…. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a Flash Light trade show in the USA ? If so were and when ?
Looking for a specific Flash Light Trade show not a combination light show. thanks. Marty

I would expect the best bang for your buck flashlights are better represented on BLF than any trade show that might exist, though I could be wrong.

I am sure . I am a new member here .This is a great forum. With Air Plane Tickets so cheap right now I could take a vacation and go to the trade show , kill to 2 birds with 1 stone. MD

I see no reason to think otherwise. I mean look at what we’ve accomplished already, so many models, designs and driver systems.

I haven’t seen a trade show specifically for flashlights, I wouldn’t be surprised if some vendors at a gun show would have flashlights. Don’t know if they would be any of the ones you were used to, but before all this stuff was going on, I was set to go to a gun show that had “LED Flashlights” in the title. So next time I go to a gun show I’ll be keeping an eye out for flashlights…that aren’t crappy

That’s the problem with Gun Show lights. They are usually crappy lights. I have seen the occasional Nitecore, Fenix or Olight dealer but, not much else. Lots and lots of Flashlight/taser/bluetooth speaker/mace dispenser all in one lights. None worth buying. You can buy better CB radios at gun shows more so than flashlights.

SHOT show is probably your best bet.

If there were a trade show that somehow wasn’t cancelled, I can’t say it would be wise to attend with the way things are now.
Plane tickets are cheap for a reason.

I think if a vendor set up a booth at a gun show they would do well. Older guys who don’t trust the internet vendors, and probably still have old school D cell lights. You should see how well the beef jerky guys do at shows. Busiest booth there. I must have spent $50 there and was all set for months.

Shot and many other “trade” shows are not open to the general public. They have a website and you can submit an application. They do let some YouTubers and other “media” in. And there are plenty of YouTube videos of previous shows you can go and watch that are somewhat informative.

all the Trade Shows in my area have been cancelled for 2020.
no conferences, no meetings, no nothing/no how/no way.

in 2019, i had good luck at gun shows.
there were dedicated OLight booths, Fenix, etc.
all posted their vendor list and booth location online.

Ehhh It could be the case for someone in the states but remember not all attendees nor booths will be US based even with “cheap” flights most countries that even have boarders open for non-essential travel have a mandated 14 day self isolation and testing required…… I know for a fact a lot of Americans attempted to circumvent such a mandate coming into Canada lying about reason for travel to be slapped with fines and possible jail time on the table.

Last year’s Blade Show had multiple flashlight vendors and manufacturers there.
