After almost getting one of these that had been turned into a vape (or the other way around) I came across this very similar one, but it has trit slots in the tailcap - can anyone help me find the flashlight on the right?

Is what you’re looking at really a “mystery Hanko type” or is it a real Hanko ?
No it’s not real as it looks quite a bit different - this is the same as that vape one I posted, but in flashlight form. I don’t want the skull - hate it and the clip.
I found it on Aliexpress and asked the question, but the seller only sells the clips.
I vaguely remember the vape one but that was 18650 wasn’t it? The one pictured looks 16340/cr123 size like the original. Plus it’s beside a Boss 35.
Edit: the size of the screw heads and switch boot are the tell for host size.
Yeah the other was 18650 apparently… though on second glance it is a little different - maybe it is a Hanko one I haven’t seen before.

These flashlights are so pretty and it is a pity that they are not available anywhere. Maybe Neal would be able to source some of them and do a ‘secret groupbuy’ where no original Hanko buyers can enter?

There are online guides on how to get a Taobao agent, though I've never gone down that route.
I tried buying one of these last year via superbuy and twice my order was cancelled due to miscommunication with the agent and they didn’t understand which spec I was looking for. They were different back then without the backlight option, maybe I should try again now, still got some credits left.
These also used to be available on AE but for some reason only the “A160” aluminum ones remain.

Too bad it is so freaking difficult to purchase these through Taobao. I would be interested in the copper ones.
I hear prices on Taobao are frequently cheaper than Aliexpress, so I would use the site if it were in English somehow.
(I don't trust online translaters enough for a shopping website that's in Chinese.)
I got several flashlights from Taobao already. I use the Taobao agent Superbuy to import all flashlights and parts I like to Europe. 
You can recharge your Superbuy account with Paypal and order the flashlights that you want. They will store them in their Chinese warehouse and once you submit and pay for international delivery they ship you the products.
It is quite convenient as you can put together many small flashlights and parts in one big parcel. Of course the international shipping is not cheap, it is about 15 - 20$ per kg.
The translation function of Chrome works quite well on Taobao. It contains errors but most of the time it is more or less readable. Only text in pictures is not translated.
