Any suggestions for a good 1,2 or 4 cell 18650 carrier? Right now I’m thinking of just using those orange match cases made by Cohlans or UST like you can find in any big box store sporting goods section. Is there a better option out there? I have used those for many years to hold a spare set of cr123’s and other than some rattle they have been perfect.
Those Shoshine doodads (and similar) aren’t good?
Those containers (usually 4-fers) snap shut, don’t rattle too much. I use the cheapies and haven’t yet sprung for the watertight ones (gasket and all).
I got a bunch waaaaaay back from “Yek(!) Battery Store” on AX, but anything along those lines should work.
That’s pretty cool. Hadn’t seen those before. I use this for the most part. Holds a few cells and will charge almost anything, just in case. I hear the new version will also take button tops. Version 1 will only take flatop unprotected cells. Fine by me, that is mostly what I have. A few MJ1’s in it will give you a nice 7000mah charging bank. These are pretty nice too. I use a few of those for camping. These are handy as well.
