My Convoy S2+ just got delivered. I ordered one with an XM-L2 led with eight 7135 chips.
Can you help me ascertain the flashlight I received does come with 7135x8 chips and that its not a fake as I’ve seen some discussions about fake S2+ flashlights.
Apparently everything seems to be OK. Those are the 4 chips on the bottom and it will probably have 4 on the top layer, along with other components. Also, it seems to be a legit XM-L2 Led.
That seems to be the 3/5 modes version ( Low-Med-High / Low-Med-High-Strobe-SOS).
Am in asia. Got it off an asian ecommerce platform from a store that delivers from china. Yes, it is the 3/5 mode version.
I’m still trying set it up as I only received a flashlight and a lanyard. No manual, no spare o-rings, nothing…
The only Convoy with a few accessories may be the Convoy M3 and S11 which adds 2 o-rings (18650-to-26650 battery adapter).
The Convoy L6 which adds an anti-roll ring.
And probably the most “full-featured” could be the Convoy L2 (XPL-Hi) which includes magnets (temporary connecting 2x flat-top 26650), extension tube, anti-roll ring & lanyard strap. But no spare o-rings…
