everything is perfect especially the color choice but why the greengarden they have to add that crenelation around the tailswitch???!?

who the heck carry a small AAA light with lanyard and its not long enough for tailstand either! cut those two lil thing off and give it a better 360 access to tailswitch

ffs flashlight manufacturer need to consider carrying their lights before making one instead of just copying designs which include flaws for free

Yeh to all the above. I hate tailswitches with those cutouts. Either leave a ring all the way around to let it tailstand, or leave the button sticking out for easier activation (eg, with gloves).

What’s worse is when you have a dual-switch setup, so if you want to change modes with the sideswitch, you gotta twist the light as you’re holding it, then twist it back to press the tailswitch.

Throw in a clip to dig into your palm or whatever, and it makes it even worse.

Interested for collection purposes, but it seems huge, and really should have tailstand/deep carry capability.

They looked at the popularity of the Tool AAA and made their version. They did not copy the compactness, but did copy the one annoying feature of the Tool: it does not tailstand.

djozz is spot on.

Despite that I’m still interested, depending on driver and UI.

A simple L-M-H with no strobe and no visible PWM would be great.

Shame it’s not available in nicer colours, red or blue or something.

Clip also looks like it’s going to be terrible, shame.

4000K stock is nice! Thumbs Up

I think user selectable L-M-H / H-M-L driver would be good.

Wonder how a smooth reflector and flat white would throw…..

Granted, I never liked those flip-clips, but some people want to pocket-carry them, and be able to stick ‘em on a cap’s visor. I’d just pull it off and do without a clip, as I usually do.

But I really like those colors. I take it “sand” (by process of elimination) is that orangey/coppery color? I can dig it.

I’m waiting to see how things shake out, any last-minute changes, gb price, etc.

Actually, I really like that UI in the Olight i3T and I would be happy to have it in a light with a high CRI neutral white emitter (and even happier if I could easily replace that emitter with something warmer).

Interested. But 3 mode with a true middle mode. Low, medium and high. not moonlight, low and high.

And size is important. If you can get it compact. Otherwise why AAA?

Interested. My A01 is almost perfect with the exception of the o-ring. second one broke and now the head keeps coming undone in my pocket. been looking at clickys now. hopefully the A02 is not that much bigger.

It can be found already at the Taobao store of Mateminco: Mateminco CSF03

It uses a TIR lens. The runtime chart suggests that it steps down from 378 lumen to 90 lumen after 70s. However, I don’t know why it should run 4h at 378 lumen with stepdown and only 2h at 88 lumen. Flat Stare Question
