FS Wtt: FW3A w/ Luxeon V2 & aux led's for FW1A

I have an extra FW3A. It’s got 5000k Luxeon V2’s and a pink/purple aux board. I don’t remember the specifics of my order from lexel but man the aux leds are bright! FW is updated to give 2-stage lockout (and aux LED control). The clip has been modded to be flush with the body.
Excellent condition, this was a night stand light so very little use.

Looking for any flavor of FW1A, straight trade only, cover our own shipping. Pm me for pics if interested! Open to sales offers as well.

After several requests I’ve uploaded pics and added them to OP! Thanks for looking! After looking at it again taking these photos the light is in 99% condition! It’s had an easy life, taking the pics just now is probably the furthest it’s ventured from the night stand it’s whole life. Complete opposite of a user.

I sent my light to OP and it arrived last week. No communication whatsoever from him since he sent me his address on 6/7 and said he’d ship to me “within a day or two.” I’ve sent multiple messages and he has logged on since, but has not replied to me.

Things happen, so I understand if there has been a delay of some sort. But I’m very much hoping to hear from him soon, and that this does not get ugly.

Another week without any communication from OP, I messaged him on Facebook as well and got blocked. I am in contact with the site mod on next steps, but until proven otherwise this individual appears to be a scammer. I have asked permission to share his personal information so no one else in the hobby gets scammed.

It happened to me at the other forum last month. A crook opened several sale thread and sold some first 2 weeks. And then since he is UK, exploit time consuming shipping delays and delete sale record form buyer to buyer on thread, he was able to sell same item to different buyers and skip the shipment after collect funds from many buyers. It is pity. I couldn’t believe that someone really could do such a immoral things for not even large money. Sometimes things can be happened. But most of time, it was not that cases. I also hope you find the way to end ordeal soon.

I never received a response of any kind from TrueRMS / Cereal_killer, so I am sharing his personal information here to the extent reasonable. His name is Dan Gostlin and he lives in South Solon OH. He is a thief and a scammer and I will be sharing his information anywhere I can. Do not do any kind of business with him.

This is sad but he’ll strike again. New account, post a bunch, then start selling and trading.

I’ve redacted the personal information, since I don’t believe in doxxing people. With sufficient documentation, and depending on the value of goods involved, it may be worthwhile to pursue pressing charges for mail fraud.

My official recommendation is not to confront people in-person over internet-related things (rather get authorities involved if it’s that serious), and also not to rely on information posted online to determine the real identity behind a username. Here’s an example where an innocent third party died as a result of an online issue, escalated into real life.
