I have no idea, googling brings up only Alibaba brandless battery results, it doesnt find anything with 120417 tho, only with HFR NI-MH.

Alibaba links say Place of Origin: Guangdong China (Mainland) Brand Name: HFR
Perhaps this is the manufacturer:

Well, $15 is really good price for re-branded & pretty XX’es!
Really shame that it’s only seller & he doesn’t ships internationally, I’d so take a 4-pack of these.

+1 on that, 15$ for XX Eneloops is a bargain, but shipping would probably kill the deal for us because we can get them for ~21$ locally.

Little update regarding my fake DinoDirect Enepoops – their capacity range from 1800mAh to 2400mAh, I will test 4 of them for their LSD properties tomorrow, 2 days after I charged them, next 4 I will test in a week, if its going to be worth it, it depends how good data will turn to be after 2 days of self discharge.
If its promising, then 1 month test is due.

The numbers are not really good, most likely fakes. 2400 is way too high, and 1800 is not so good either

Same specs as the XX/Pro, just a different packaging? There are posts on the internet about these going back to January 2011. They seem to have been marketed in Malaysia and the Philippines based on the posts I’ve seen.

Harmolattice is advertised coming pre-charged.
I found this on the other forum:
XX is for the European market and there is an equivalent Harmolattice 2500mAh (with the Eneloop technology) for the Asian market. Unlike the XX, Harmolattice are not pre-charged.

Thanks for the results, vëer.

No need to say any comment about those fakeloops.

Meanwhile…. I imagine that they still haven´t answered you about the received fakeloops….

Let´s see what they tell you. If they tell you something.

I am guessing that they will offer a 3$ giftcard per each pack you bought………

PS: I think that those batts are not LSD. I will do a 6months LSD test from mine

Definitely not real eneloops but should be good for use around the house.  You can use and abuse them and not feel bad about it.

Yes, you can abuse them……. unless they start a fire Smile

hmmmm… I will try to do a discharge test at 1 or 2 amps to see if they can do well under high loads………..

When I discharged them at 1A they became rather warm, when I charged them at 2A they became really HOT to the touch, so I wouldnt say these are going to be reliable batteries Wink
I wont trust them and wont charge higher than @1A charge rate.

muahaha

At least they can be discharged at 1Amp, because the PISEN AA LSD 2000mAh I have, when you try to discharge at more than 500mA…………. they simply…………. die

PS: what charger/discharger are you using vëer?

MAHA C9000, best purchase related to batteries/flashlights so far Wink
Got it from German Ebay for excellent price for European buyers, bare charger and set with bag and car adapter, battery box available:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Powerex-Prozessor-Ladegerat-Analyzer-fur-4-AA-AA...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-fur-Unterwegs-Powerex-MH-C9000-Kfz-Adapter-1...

Mine came in perfect box, even tho seller advertises that some of boxes might have slight damages.

BTW, got reply from DinoScam.com – they say that they checked and that those batteries are not fake, LOL!
F**K DinoDirect, F**K them hard!

veer, DD is *just a big* etailer and they are no specialists re the stuff they sell. i am sure that none of them has technical knowledge re flashlights, and for example ever disassembled a switch!! neither will they know how to discern fake cells from original cells. even *we* have a hard time telling, dont we? so here are general suggestions re buying from DD:

1) solve your case in repeated chat sessions with changing ottas. dont use their email system or other delayed communication form.

2) avoid buying batteries from them. even DX gets to sell batches of fake TF's. the only reason for me to buy batteries from them is if i have run out of ideas what to buy from them with my tens of 2$ or 3$ giftcards.

I guess I will have to open PP dispute and then start to bomard them with chat requests. Still its their responsibility what they are selling, not buyers.
first chat bombarding. if no results, then open PP dispute. after that continue bombarding with chat requests. since you're online now, do it now. their chat is (again) 24/7!!
*FMI* i got 4 i/o sh

@vëer and others:

I have started to test my FAKELoops from dino

These batts ARE NOT LSD. And no need to do a 6 months LSD test. Why?

I compared how much the voltage drops after charging…. I mean, I measured how much voltage drops on a LSD battery and on a non-LSD battery.

I have found that:

LSD battery: after charging, the voltage remains above 1.4volt even after several days

NON-LSD battery: after charging, the voltage drops from 1.4volt to 1.37 in less than 1 hour.

For me, no need to waste time and money doing a 6 months LSD test.

At least they have offered something. Of course, money refunded is way better than giftcards (giftcard = you must buy from them)

I have to think what I am going to tell them
