I know this might seem a little odd to be posting this, but I looked for some tweezers at my local supermarket and they only had 1 flimsy girly pair for $7. Then I accidentally I found these without even looking for them, I thought it might be a good deal if anyone else needs a tool for flashlight disassembly to post here.
I bought 1 and paid $1 for shipping, but if you buy 3 you get free shipping, so for $1 more I could have had 3 instead of 1.
They look pretty solid and well made from the pics, especially for the price.
the body of the Klarus Mix6 has an outer diameter of 11.60mm and a tube inner diameter of maybe 10mm. your tweezers wouldnt help me to take out the rear spring and rubber grommet:
Good post ezarc. I have a set of these bought locally at American Science and Surplus, but I noticed them on the IOS site as well. Another good tool if you need more torque is snap ring pliers like these. If you are in ConUS, $2.49 at Harbor Freight.
try weitus toys and you will call those rubbish ;), are so precise that you canpull off smallhairs xD but if you need just to put something in 2 holes is a waste
For the use intended i find them nice enough. Occasionally i throw some away when they are too battered. Often just clip away the last 2 cm and use them on nasty tight tailcaps.
