Hello all, this forum, along with Reddit flashlight, has been an incredible resource (or wallet drain if you’re a pessimist) and I wanted to create an account to become part of this community. To start off, thank you to everyone who takes the time to discuss their experiences and also to those who try to consolidate/summarize the immense amount of knowledge posted here daily. Every time I start reading with a particular question in mind, I end up on so many tangents I completely forget what I was even looking for. But I’m slowly putting the pieces together!
I have some driver / LED / mod related questions floating around in my head, which I’ll post later in the appropriate area. But here is just to say hello and thank you!
Welcome! BTW, great user name. I've been around for a while(mostly read) and you're not being pessimistic about wallet drain, that's just a realist. There are no "cheap" hobbies. Enjoy the forum.

And I agree that reddit and the various forums do drain the wallet. there are just too many EDC items to buy, too many hobbies to feed and only 1 bank account.
For the username, I actually had to resurrect an old name I used many years ago, but I thought it was appropriate here! The name actually comes from the Japanese movie “Mononoke Hime”.
lol yes only one bank account, and a significant other to justify purchases with… haha we keep each other accountable on spending. Last TV show I watched? It’s been a while, but I’ll go with West Wing (on Netflix).
I’m not originally from DC. Some of my family members had this confusion when I told them where I was moving. Embarrassingly, I also thought the team formerly known as the Redskins was located in Washington State. But I still knew DC was a different place!
Also, must be Milla Jovovich?

I just got back from DC this morning. I had to drive in and pack up my office. Relocating me to a different floor. It’d nice driving in DC now, not much traffic!
Thanks! No end in sight to this, but traffic has really picked up as summer got going. For a while there (April / May) there was really no one at all on the street during the day. It was crazy.
