WTB Fenix lanyards (3)

Hi all,

ILIKEFLASHLIGHT's recent thread on the beloved TK41 has a great pic of exactly what I'm looking for.

https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/6309

The lanyard's cordage is of a smaller diameter than all of the para-cord I own, and it fits PERFECTLY between the fins of the CQG 3 x 18650 longrun light.

I have three (3) hosts being built up, and I would like to use these lanyards, if possible.

Thanks !!!

Bump up for a look.

I have looked at the thread , and I can't see what I need to see in order to help .

If you could post a pic of the lanyard in question ...

It's the lanyard in the plastic storage/shipping box below:

Hey, X. Looks like it may be similar to this 2mm micro paracord

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Paracord-Type-Micro-Cord-2mm-CAMO-PATTERN-Colors-USA-/180652787536?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item6fc3b40315#ht_2076wt_1027

Looks like it is the same lanyard coming with the LD40. If this is the case: PM me to get it as I don't have any use for it (the lanyard, not the LD40 :p )

Ok maybe I'm dumb but cannot understand what is different in that particular lanyard than the ones that usually come with (most) new flashlights?

The pic does not show much detail, really...

The lanyard is braided from a nylon cord. The cord isn't as large as the Para cord used in making some bracelets and other things. The intended use of these braided cords and lanyards is the ability to unbraid them and use the cord for other things in an emergency. Here is a bracelet like I'm talking about. http://www.batteryjunction.com/rescueband-blu-blk-opt.html My grandson made me one of these as a collar for my dog. I can unbraid it in an emergency and make have a length of 550 lb cord to use as needed.

I had never seen or heard of such thing before!

Thanks for sharing!

Tether cord is in between Type III and Type I in diameter ...

Thanks for all of the replies, guys.

Huny74 - I'll be sending you a message forthwith. Thanks !

These premium lanyards at Shining Beam may be just what you’re looking for Chicago. They are braided, thinner than paracord and silky feeling. They come in black and grey and cost $1.35.
