If you want to change from OP to SMO then too bad. Buy a whole new drop-in since it looks like he pots everything together with epoxy. Driver dies? whole new drop-in. Emitter change? tough tattas...buy a new drop-in.

I do love the laser etching in the reflectors though.

And he only drives that XM-L at 1.5A? What's wrong with 2.8A, which seems to be the sweet spot for this emitter?
