Deal Alert!

Again I don't know if I am allowed to do this but I recently bought one of these. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?&products_id=104721

I didn't need a new torch, but I spent the best part of a morning, under my car trying to open my bonnet as the cable had got stuck. Anyway I had my Lenser P3 in my mouth whilst lying on my back. Not a good idea as I nearly swallowed it 3 times. So that night when I was having a mither on the Internet I found this torch. It comes with a head strap, which would stop me from swallowing my Lenser and having the light, quite literally, shinning out of my arris the next morning.

Now the the surprise for me was that for £2.99 delivered (it is now £3.99) it is exceptionally well made, Two modes On and Off, a head strap lanyard for around your neck and a little bag. It has a Nichia .5 watt LED and 26 lumens. Now I know 26 lumens is not a great lot, but it is very bright and not far off as bright as my 3D Maglite and the same size beam (width wise) I love it. It's also worth noting that it has a AAA Duracell included and is actually smaller than a Mag solitaire.

Now before you ask I have no beam shots, as my wife thinks I am a nit wit for taking pictures of torches. Last night she want to know why I was on Youtube for an hour 'Watching people shine torches on grass'.

If you hold on for a bit the torch will probably come back down to £2.99 delivered.

Before I go I just want to say I have nothing to do with the company, just wanted to share the deal.

Marc.

Thanks for sharing and välkommen till BLF!

I'll pass on this one, just wanted to say: don't worry too much about what's allowed to post. Freedom of speech isn't just a phrase here.

Thanks, it does seem nice and laid back here. Love it!

"26 lumens" and "Ultra bright". Are they talking about the same light?

I did not say 'ultra bright' I just said very bright, which it is. When you consider it's size and the tiny reflector it has, it's is amazing that it could almost out perform my 3d Maglite (incan). To give you an idea if you shine the Mag on the floor about 4 to 5m in front of you, the cyba-lite performs the same. And the cyba-lite will light up about 15/20m away. It's not the first LED torch I have, I have a Lenser P7, mag AA with a terralux and a 3D maglite with a XPG R5 at 200lm. But I would say that this, for the size and the money is probably the most impressive torch out of the lot.

It's a lot brighter than the Lenser P3.

Hi Marc welcome to BLF

i have bought a few lights from 7dayshop and there are sometimes good bargains

and a lot quicker delivery for us in the UK than buying from HK i may keep a eye on that wee light and see if the price comes down

cheers Barrie

The website says "Ultrabright". 26 lumens are NOT ultrabright. If you look for a small bright light

there are plenty others.

Or in other words - if you like THIS light that much, I already envy you the positive shock while seeing some of the jewels that get posted around here :D

Welcome, and have fun!

Sorry Nautic I thought you said I had said ultra bright in my post, my mistake.

@ Anduril, I do have very good lights and I understand there are much better AAA lights, but you will pay a lot more money. It comes beautifully finished, threads lubed, a clip (bull dog style) a very good quality headband, a lanyard to put around your neck, a Duracell AAA and a pouch. Top this off with the fact it is almost as good as a 3D mag incan and was only £2.99 delivered. That's why I am so impressed with it. You know, I love my little Lenser P3 but this is made just as well, was £10 cheaper (discounted mind you) and is a lot brighter.

Marc.

By the way, Thank you for all the welcomes.

Marc.
