Does anyone recognize this driver?

The specs look good. Since you already bought it, you might as well give it a try and see how you like it. I assume this will be powered by 1 x 18650? Please let us know what tailcap readings you come up with, and also what is measured at the led if you can. The price looks great so hopefully it will power your led to spec.

The first one is a 1 battery driver and the second works best with 2 batteries. As you got it

please try it and lets hear the result.

I have this on the way from KD; http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=1845

which you may consider

They look the same apart from the colour.

One is 19mm the other is 17mm [ Red ]

The other [ 19mm ] is also sold at KD [ Looks the same ]

and cheaper.

Got my driver today what does the lettering mean?

The back is green.

But probably some kind of stocknumber

The first driver can be found at Suntekstore for $ 3.16 incl. shipping

Looks like pwm only. Not regulated. Just direct drive with modes
