I am looking for a good throw and a nice spill.
Any XM-L in a P-60 drop-in is going to be roughly the same throw/spill, depending how hard the drop-in is driven. SMO reflector give brighter hotspot, OP reflector gives more spill. You could switch all three of the drop-ins you mentioned into different bodies, and they would still have the same throw and spill in whatever body you put them in.
*oops* I see the Eagletac you mentioned is an XP-E...it will appear to have more throw where the XM-L will be huge flood compared to it, with almost comparable brightness in the hotspot. XM-L's are WAY more fun, I'm done with XR-E and XP-E's.
