Sofirn SP36 Anduril - does turbo need adjustment?

I have a Sofirn SP36 (4000k) with Anduril. I believe it’s factory firmware settings. When I double click from on, am I getting the max that the light can produce? 5000 lumens wasn’t as bright as I had imagined. The max ramp is adjustable, and the factory setting may not be as high as it can go. I was wondering if there was some trick to the turbo setting also, that maybe it’s not as high as it can go?

No, turbo is not adjustable in Andúril.

You could get a little more brightness with higher-drain batteries and spring bypasses, but not much.

For a light to look twice as bright to a human, it needs about four times the number of lumens.

2 clicks from off = High
2 clicks from on = Turbo

Only the highest level it ramps to is adjustable, not turbo.

What batteries are you using? If it’s the Sofirn ones then it’s definitely not reaching it’s advertised spec.

You need to configure the thermal limit on Anduril otherwise it’ll step down too quickly

Ah thanks for the reminder about the thermal limit.
