I am interested in the Convoy S2+ with Biscotti because I prefer a single mode flashlight and have some 18650 laying around so for the price it seems like a no brainer for a spare or hand out flashlight.
I don’t currently own any Convoy lights, but I’ve read that they don’t have any sort of thermal regulation or stepdown so I was just planning on getting the 7135 x3 or x4 so it won’t get silly hot, but upon seeing newer reviews it seems that some models incorporate thermal regulation now, but I cannot seem to find these with biscotti drivers. If simon is able to add those drivers via the request section, I was curious if it would still step down if using the single mode 100% group on a x6 or x8, or if it has to be in a group with alternate modes selectable to work properly
