The body and the materials
The Fenix E01 V2.0 is a small EDC flashlight that can be powered by 1.5V AAA Alkaline primary batteries or Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries.
With a weight of only 13 grams (excluding battery) and a length of about 6cm, it can be taken anywhere.

It is available for purchase in two colors (Blue and Black) and is supplied with a Pairdeer AAA primary battery.

The highest brightness level is only 100 lumens, with a wide and diffused beam and a cool tint. The max throw is about 35m (304cd).
The lens is TIR, small and semi-transparent

There is no switch on this flashlight: just screw or unscrew the head to light on. Small vertical grooves help to increase grip.

The threads are very precise and smooth, the anodizing as well as the lettering are perfect.

The E01 v2 is it essentially consists of two parts: head and body.

The body is finely machined with a 0.15mm knurl. It offers excellent feedback to the touch and always guarantees excellent grip.

At the tail there is a sturdy ring to attach the flashlight to any keychain.

The E01 V2.0 is water resistant to IP68 standard and submersible without problems up to 2m depth.
The impact resistance is given up to one meter even if Fenix declares that the flashlight is able to withstand drop tests with drops from 1.5m in height on 6 different sides.

Output management is very simple:
- Screw the head to turn on the light
- Unscrew the head to turn off the light
- Unscrew and screw back to go to the next level
Below are the discharge curves that show the trend of the output for the High, Med and Low levels and some nighttime Beamshot.

Final judgement
The Fenix E01 v2.0 is a small quality flashlight to always keep at hand and always ready for use.

It can be powered with the classic AAA Alkaline primaries (but also with the Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries) and can be safely stored in those places where we would usually never trust to leave a torch with a lithium battery (for example in the car during the hottest summer hours).

The E01 v2.0 does not have a switch but allows you to manage the outputs by rotating the head.

Well done lettering, anodizing and knurling.

Convenient the presence of the Low level of only 5 lumens which guarantees a Runtime of 25 hours.

Maximum output certainly not very high, but certainly useful for various situations.

Simple and functional flashlight, also ideal as a gift idea.

Thanks for reading!! XD
