The flashlight was sent to me by Wuben for review.

The E12R comes is a nice presentation box.
Other than the flashlight, the following accessories are included in the box:
A diffurser, 2 x replacement o-rings, a type-c charging cable, an adjustable wristband and a user's manual.
The E12R comes with a flat-black anodization along its body.
he flashlight is e-switch operated and has the 'Wuben' logo imprinted into its switch.
Thanks to the embedded indicator LED, the switch is also used to indicate the battery's status.
The e-switch slightly protrudes, while there's a few heatsinking grooves carved into the head.
The head is lightly crenelated and houses the TIR lens along with the OSRAM P9 Emitter.
The manufacturer has probably resided into using a TIR lens in order to provide a more focused beam while using a swallow head.
Other than being a flashlight, the E12R is also a powerbank.
The tail of the E12R houses all the input/output circuitry and is sealed via a rubber flap.
Under the flap, one finds a full USB-A port (output) and a type-c port (input)
The tail utilized some cleanly cut, non-anodized threads.
The tails houses the rear spring board.
In order to allow the dual-operation ( flashlight and powerbank ), the E12R comes with a dual tube design.
The inner tube is responsible for power delivery to the driver-board / emitter, while the outer tube is used by the powerbank mode.
In order to further enhance its usability, the E12R also comes with a silicon light diffuser.
The diffuser sits firmly on the head of the flashlight and produces a nice omni-directional lighting pattern.
A Wuben-branded 3100mAh battery also comes with the flashlight.
Built-in charging
While charging a fairly depleted battery, I recorded 1.2A of input current.
Powerbank Mode
The manufacturer allows up to 1.5A of current delivery when in powerbank mode.
Output regulation is spot on for 0.5, 1.0A and 1.5A.
I'm very confident in saying that the output circuitry is solidly designed.
User Interface
Here's all the supported actions by the flashlight's firmware.
Turn-on / off: Single press.
Mode cycle: Long press ( Eco > Low > Mid > High > Eco > ... )
Quick access to High: Double press while on.
Quick access to Eco: Long press while off.
Strobe: Double press while off.
SOS: Double press while in Strobe.
Turn on/off Switch Indicator: Triple press while off.
Lock / Unlock: Quadruple press while off.
The E12R comes with mode-memory and Low Voltage Warning / Protection.
Performance
My measurements were recorded using the included Wuben-branded battery that was included with the flashlight.
Surprisingly, the flashlight seems to be underspeced by the manufacturer.
At High I was able to record 1400+ lumens.
Output Regulation
Here's a graph I created to demonstrate the output regulation of the E12R.
What we can see in the graph:
- High starts at 1400 lumen and slowly drops to 1300 once the emitter is heat-soaked.
- At the 2 minute mark, High steps down to 600 lumens.
- The step-down brightness if fully regulated and sustainable
- Medium and Low are also fully regulated and sustainable modes.
