WaveForm Lighting: CENTRIC DAYLIGHT™ Full Spectrum 10W LED Bulb

What is the real CRI of WaveFrom’s CENTRIC DAYLIGHT™ Full Spectrum bulb?

According to the Product Specifications: CENTRIC DAYLIGHT™ Full Spectrum Flicker-Free A19 10W LED Bulb – Waveform Lighting it has a:

CRI (Ra) = 95+
CRI R9 = 80+

However, according to this Google Sheet: BLF - Ultimate LED Bulbs - CRI Qfactor - Google Sheets it has a:

CRI Ra = 98
CRI R9 = 95

There seems to be a vast discrepancy between the CRI R9 reported by WaveForm Lighting and the test performed by Maukka.

Which one is to be relied on?

P.S

I did come across a report by WaveForm Lighting: https://www.waveformlighting.com/photometrics/TR_4005.40.pdf that seems to mimic Maukka’s test results but it seems odd that the website itself reports a much lower CRI R9.

If anyone has guidance on this issue I would appreciate it.

Thanks

If I’m not mistaken, they have to communicate the #’s that are their guaranteed minimum. So when you see something like 95-80, it means “this product will always have a Ra of greater than or equal to 95, and always have an R9 of greater than or equal to 80.”

I did a test with Sekonic C800, and Ra was 98 while R9 as 97.
