I’m a bit late to the FW3A party but now I finally have one on the way from Neal. I included a 18500 tube since I want to try the slightly smaller form factor - but I am not sure about the battery. What 18500 battery would you guys recommend for this light? I was thinking something like Panasonic NCR18500A 2040mAh - 3.8A?
The Panasonic is the one I use, seems to be good so far. Been using it for a couple of months now. I really like the FW3A in 18500 format!

This one. Those 2200 mAh Vapcell gold wrapper are excellent. I use them in my 18500 FW3A and it is almost like having an 18650 inside.
Output is superior to the 2000 mAh Vapcell green wrapper.
