Anyone measure the CRI/Spectrum of HIDs?

I can’t seem to find much online aside from a typical range of 5-90 CRI. That’s… a pretty big range.

I’m considering a RX350 projector retrofit into my camry, with 35w phillips 4300k DS2 HIDs - more for the light distribution than peak brightness. BLF has turned me into a bit of a CRI snob, and while I’ve got a spectrometer, HID bulbs are pricey enough that I’m not in a position to buy a bunch to test.

Does anyone here with a spectrometer have factory HIDs (ideally with the phillips DS2 bulbs) that could do a test a post the results? Or link to some that I’ve failed to come across online?

Good question about the CRI of HIDs. My wife’s car has HID and I’ve always been impressed by them. They have a lot of throw and are great headlights. It’s interesting how they fire-up and then increase in intensity after a short time vs the LEDs in mine (or halogen in our old car) which are instant on.
