I bought a bunk trustfire R5-A3 from KD half a year ago. I finally fooled around with it for awhile and it appears that the clicky mechanism is bunk. I bent the spring in order to make it work temporarily. I'd like to replace the whole tailswitch / clicky / spring in the back. I also lost the belt clip, when trying to fix it. Anyhow, does anybody know how I can order the parts to get the light working?
just realized i posted this in the wrong section, maybe one of the ops could move it to the single aa section?
These are the replacement switches they come 5 in a pack, but they are only a dollar eighty and they are very fragile.
Can I buy a a tailcap with the switch already installed? I also need a replacment spring, I bent mine trying to get the light working, and don't feel that I can get it back into the proper shape.
I am not sure your best bet is to search KD, if you were in the states I could send you a spring.
I'm in the states, do you want to sell me a few?
I'd prefer to buy anything I can from dealextreme. I feel that I got burned by Kai's Domain...
