Building my first batter got one side complete and started the other side when I connect a bus bar it sparks and when I solder it sometimes it’ll spark is this normal I stopped production as it’s 12v 36Ah lifepo4 32650s
If you connect two cells together in parallel and they are not at the exact same voltage, then current will flow from one to the other and this can cause a spark or arc as the contact point of the buss bar “bounces” on the surface (not a good connection but loose). This might happen when soldering too.
