Anyone know if something's up with flashlightnews.net

I have an account there and it is saying "Account Suspended". AFAIK there is no reason for this so I'm hoping they've not been hacked again...

Uh-oh. Same here. I would suspect that the "Account" that was suspended is not our user account but rather the web hosting account.

Makes sense if someone was running something nasty on it after a hack.

Or a DOS attack maybe that used up their bandwidth quota for the month?

You don't hear as much about DOS attacks these days. Are they still pretty common? I thought most hosting providers had put in stuff to mitigate them nowadays - there just isn't the money in DDOS blackmail nowadays I thought.

Turns out the hosting provider and the owner didn't agree on the payment date.

Yes, I think DOS attacks are still really common, but probably not against a (relatively) obscure flashlight forum. Glad it wasn't foul play this time, at least.
