Two polls today
This one is about preferences regarding tail cap clickies. Is tail standing more important even though you have to have a recessed button or is having an easier to access button more important?
I realize that there are cut-away tail caps that allow both. Feel free to mention whether you prefer those as well.

cut-away tail caps are great. even better are boots on which the torch tail stands (e.g. my Quark X AA Tactical, with Eagletac boot).

My armytek predator is an example of one that is almost perfectly balanced between the two options.

Protruded enough to be easily accessible, even to gloved hands, has a triple crenelation that is shallow but wide enough to actually help access.

Its protruded when off, but when turned on (forward clicky) it becommes shallower and is slightly protruded, which allows for some degree of tailstanding. If it was 1mm shorter it would tailstand perfectly.

Its almost the perfect tradeoff that allows both functions to be achieved, and given the more tactical nature of the torch, its slightly biased the right way.

Not my picture. Picture found on a google search for "armytek predator" from the following site http://www.thaicpf.com/webboard/index.php?topic=2688.0

This one pictured is a older version, mine is a updated version (same tailcap). There is a version 2 of the predator with a bigger head :(

I have the newest version of Armytek Predator. It looks perfect  I have two flashlights from Atmytek and they have a great reputation. These lights are very well made and reliable. Love my light
