I recently ordered a light from brooklyn new york. Its being shipped usps priority mail. Was supposed to ship on the 6th of this month. All my tracking says since the 6th is electronic info recieved from shipper. Anyone else ever get a priority package that never updates? Or are some usps packages via priority not trackable? Thanks so much for any help.
I always have stuff like this happen with shipments delivered by the USPS. I just received a package that had been in the 'electronic info received from shipper' state for about a week, and then went directly into the 'Delivered' state once the package had been received. The USPS tracking isn't as reliable and detailed as FedEx or UPS...
+1, but I don't think i've had a priority do that, probably happens often enough though

USPS is notoriously poor w/their updates and are nowhere on the level of UPS or FEDEX. My item was shipped on the 6th and they claimed expected delivery of the 9th (unrealistic from west coast to east) but current update on their site is still:
Your item departed our FEDERAL WAY, WA 98003 sort facility on February 08, 2012. 
Sux as I likely won't receive the latest acquisition 
until Monday.
