I wonder what could possibly be better in a original ultrafire lets say 504B host instead the ones from the usual suspects? Certainly no sloarforce quality but who knows.

I always enjoy when intellectual property violators complain about intellectual property violations.  Got to love it.

Interesting, indeed.  I'd like to see a direct comparison of a true Ultrafire to it's clone.

My 980l, UF-H3 and MCU-C88 are all leaps and bounds ahead of my 501,502s from DX. They look like a totally different company made them.....

Ill bet that we start seeing more of these official sites spring up like TANK007 and UltraFire, selling lights for a higher price than the cheapo sites.

If you don't buy the Official Site then it's counterfeit and no warranty or service form them.

Oh, no, he appears to be genuine alright - the main Ultrafire site links to him from:

http://www.ultrafire.net/shownews.asp?id=58

(I just bought a 18650 protected rechargeable battery and a multi-battery charger off him earlier this week,as a matter of fact).

I was just going to post about 980L... This black list does not sell them, AFAIK.

Really a different standard of finish if compared to the usual UF stuff bought cheap from anywhere

yeah agreed with the 980l..also the 3 mode xm-l drop-in at manafont has the same driver as the 980l..drop-ins from dd and dx don't seem to have this driver..

I bought a 502 xml light off manafont and a 504 light off DD and the 502 light was heads above the 504 light in terms of quality..the 504 feels cheap..also have a 504 light off manafont that has the different body and it's a much nicer light than dd's..

also remember someone really complaining about the C1 he got off dd..saying it was a fake..

edit: it was E1320 post #57 http://budgetlightforum.com/node/5053?page=1

I think it is interesting that Manafont is not on there. Maybe a official ultrafire retailer?

I have been pondering the very varied user reports on this site regarding a lot of  lights and I think I already noticed a pattern that others have also voiced from time to time. That the properly driven lights were from Manafont. That the nicely finished product were from Manafont and so on.

Anyone else who have noticed this before?

oh right! tnx 501 sea, I lost my bet xD

but genuine or not  www.ultrafire-shop.net sell all overpriced like 504b or that red led 501(way better buy at solarforce at that prices! Never seen or heard of an ultrafire p60 holder standing in quality near solarforce), and ultrafire best seller is was 50x serie

on the other side buy there is the only way to be sure at 100% of get original(sound a joke) ultrafire (especially batteries)

I tough they do separate quality line of products, maybe now are trying to improve... better, we will see more competition on mid lvl

i prefer buy a fake ultrafire 504b xml at 14$ at DD instead of an original here for 45$

Manafont is my preferred dealer , they ship fast and seem to have better quality stuff. I have no proof that the other sites are selling counterfeit lights but I am reluctant after getting burned by CNquality goods.

the list lacks of something like 200 chinese shops, you can't take it in consideration for exclusion

maybe manafont sell just original, and I bet that also some items from DX or DD like the H3 headlight are original

IMO the cheapo 501a host from manafont had far better quality than those very cheap 501 & 504´s from dinodirect.

Yes that is exactly what I read. And the 501a is supposed to be inferior according to the general concensus here. I aint saying there is anything other than that chinese lottery thing here. But then again - if there is smoke, there is usually a fire.

Also Ultrafire might be trying to step up their game and produce better quality, original  lights now not just SF clones . So, they are trying to distance themselves from all the other crap they made previously calling to counterfeit.

Who knows, my best advice is not to mess around with the business model too much. Cheap lights that are usually reliable are what hooked me on to them. If they get too expensive then I will just spend a little more and buy domestic.

Plenty of fakes around. A lot on ebay too. The Logo is different. I got sent one but didn't complain as it was a good light.

They are just about the only Chinese dealership I will buy from, other than Solarforce-sales.com. I am trying out that site that sells the XIN TD, curious how that will go.

Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!

Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

If it was int-outdoor that you made the order from for the XIN TD,  I made an order for some coated lenses for the C8 and some o-rings from them about a month and a half ago.  They shipped in a cardboard box instead of the usual bubble mailer.  The extra step of protecting the package made me smile Smile

Funny I just got done saying that my fake hosts came from manafont last year when they had a blf special and we bought them thru manafonts ebay account  they were pure garbage ultrafire fakes ...what'd say i've seen is parts of lights that looked real ..i've seen what i would have considered real heads on trashy c8 lights ..maybe they are just better quality fake parts . the dino c1's were garbage  that's for sure  I'd also agree the finish on the 980 and c-88 are 1000 times better than anything  else with ultra-fires name on it .
