What charger to charge 26650 and 18650 where to purchse?

I use the ML102 sold on intl-outdoor. 26650 fits well. USB output feature is nice too. It can even charge iPads.
For a more featured one XTAR WP2 II can also charge 26650s and is said to have CC/CV charging ability plus 0.5/1A selectable current output.

ML-102 is fantastic little charger, even though it's not real cc/cv charger it's build quality, versatility and especially efficiency at charging USB devices makes it very good choice. It should be only slightly slower at charging than WP2.

I use my Xtar wp6 II to charge my 26650s and 18650s. I have charged both button top and flat top 26650s without modification. Purchased at Manafont.

I also use the 4Sevens charger for both of these sizes. Purchased at 4Sevens.

The XTAR WP6II is a very good charger for both 26650 and 18650-sized cells. Spacers are also included for 50mm length (and smaller) cells as well.

Do you need to use any kind of mechanical adapter in the WP6 II to make the 26650 fit? I just quickly looked at the specs for the WP6 II and they don't mention the 26650 size, but I'm thinking of trying a 26650 light and it would be an easier decision if I already had a charger for the bigger battery.

Nope. You can only charge one cell at a time but my King Kongs and Trustfire Flame 5000s both work well without any other addition. If any doubt I add a thin magnet to the plus side and it works even better.

Edit: I was talking about wp2 II.

Kokopelli are you referring to the WP2 II? I was asking about the WP6 II. If a 26650 fits in the WP6 II, I would guess that it should be able to charge 3 cells at a time.

I'm still waiting to get the Trustfire TR-005 from DX (after a month and a half), but its 1.5A charge rate is nice for larger cells like the 26650. I just have no idea if it is any good. :p

I don't know if this is applicable to the WP6, because I have a WPII and only have one 26650 battery only, but I use a dime and a nickel on the charger that contacts the positive side fo the battery and this seems to work real well.

When you get it and can take some measurements, let us know of what you got.

Have you bought more than one?

I ordered 3 and I"ll report back when they land.

Nice, 3 chargers.

I have the WF-188 charger which works well.

The no-name brand charger that comes in a kit with the Ultrafire UF-2180 light was able to resurrect some DOA 25500 cells that the WF-188 could not. Don't know if it's sold separate, but I was very happy to bring those back to life.

Oh, sorry about that. It was WP2 II I were referring to.

I had no idea a 26650 fits in the WP2 II. Obviously, the length isn't an issue. I guess it just never occurred to me. This can be done as is or is something like a dime or nickel (or whatever currency) required to make contact, as was mentioned?

The WP6II can indeed charge three 26650s simultaneously - no currency required.

Swell, thanks Chicago X. Now I get to research 26650 lights and batteries.

Always glad to enable help out.
