I saw this Ebay auction posted on another forum and thought some might jump at the chance to get these. I wish I had a way to charge "D" cells, otherwise I'd pick up a set myself.
I know what you mean about checking in case some 18650 batteries show up. I bought 4 Tenergy 2600 and when I got them I found they were not protected. One of the batteries was DOA and I called Marrs to have them send me a fresh one. While on the phone I asked about protected Tenergy 2600 and they said they had some for the same price so I ordered 4 of those to be shipped with the bad one from the first order. Their shipping is very fast in the US. The batteries were flat top and only work in my single cell lights unless I use a magnet or something but I found that the protected Tenergy 2600 are some fine 18650 batteries. I called to buy some more and they were out. Too bad because for $14.95 shipped for 4 batteries it's a screaming deal. I think they still have some of the 2600 unprotected batteries for the same $14.95 deal.
