How much would u pay for a lite that had a C size tube with adapters for every bat from 26650 to AA, with extensions to fit the various size bats, with a extension with a side switch, interchangeable led pills, and interchangeable various size heads.
I would like a lite like this. How much do u think it would cost? and would u want 1 or more?
I'd gladly pay $40-50 for a Maglite-style light (i.e. 3-D cells, I'd even be happy with 2 or 3 "C" cells) that had a nice XM-L in it.
Maybe I'd even settle for an XP-G, but a nice focus-able XM-L would be very cool in that style.
Unsure if it would be usefull to me. I'd rather stick with those that are tailored for a battery type. If it does accept 3C nimh cells i would run them with those or eventually alkalines. Surely would not go to buy 6AA eneloops with adapters.. or C sized li-ion's. but that's me. I'm sure many would like a powered by anything battery lookalike that can be somehow stuffed in.
i made a similar unit
uses a 4c mag , it takes either 4 C cells , 4 AAs , or 2 18650's - i have no 26650s
. but i made it with that intention
the changing of the heads ... doable but i just added a whole dropin from DX , its a p7 but it works great.
It cost $17 for the mag and $20 for the dropin.
Currently i am looking for a 6c cell if anyone has one : )
