Variously called a tree stove, stump stove, fire log, tree torch and according the videos, Swedish torch and Finnish log stove. Seen these on a larger scale and used them on occasion when I lived in the South. We had one in the back yard of the big house (where friend and I stayed summers during college years) that was the stump of a massive Oak tree that had been cut down many years before. The amazing part is the charring on the inside gets kind of sealed after a while and the hole doesn't really get much bigger. The rest of the stump was like a big table for setting beers.... Good times.
Boaz - what were the cubes inserted in the video? I know it's old fashioned, but we used to just use wood chips and charcoal.
