Quick Question! What does "Mill" mean?!

I'm looking at building a custom C8 and while I know what OP means (orange peel reflector).... I have never come across Mill?!

Never heard of that one. It's got to mean smooth in that context though. A lot of C8 lights do come with smooth reflectors.

agreed in that context it has to mean smooth finish.

"Mill Finish" is the natural appearance of the aluminum as it comes from the rolling mill

Probably where they got the idea.

Maybe it was tought as milD OP. or milled reflector (courtesy of HK post.)

Mill means SMO. Often if you translate Chinese text regarding flashlights , you end up reading mill reflector as opposed to orange peel.
