Pretty vague question, sort of like asking "how do you like the looks of today's cars?"

Some are ugly, some are great. How do you answer that?

I don't like the looks of most modern cars.

Amen, wasted.

If I blurr my eyes, they all look the same. Wasn't always like that . . .

Hahaha…I couldn’t have answered any better than that

I answered that I don’t like most of them but I could almost answer that I don’t like any of them.
I figured that some must find them more attractive than I do.
Finding a light without any crenelation, or fins or recessed tail caps is hard (almost impossible).
Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I’ve seen some lights where the general consensus seems to be that they are attractive where I just don’t get it.
There is definitely not a lot of variety (in looks) out there IMO.

Looks also involve sometimes more hours of work, more aluminum ass to mill from, thus the price increases. So if one has the pure intention to get a budget priced light looks might be am issue. It also depends if one as person appreciates detail, not in the sense of good quality control that eliminates flashlights with slight defects but for example the knurling on some flashlight just doesn't have depth and it's more like a square pattern cut on the body. A flashlight that has more depth in the knurling is more attractive to me, eg.the knurling on the G42.

so true, gotta <3 them oldtimers :)

I like them more if they have been "baked".

Funny, I like them more if I'm a little baked.

Typical cyclist... always on the juice. (avid cyclist myself, so please don't take that seriously; just going for an easy laugh)

+ a lot.

They always sound better when "cooked".

Come the hungover dawn....

My problem is I'm always baked :*
