anybody posted that one?

Hi folks,

i don't know wether it is posted before or not but, this one is the most attractive triple XM-L that i ever seen :)

I don’t think it has any reverse protection

I was/am looking at this torch too. Anybody got one? Also, I think the seller has been accused of selling fake torches too. Don't know if it is true or not, but I did a custom search in BLF, and came up with some threads about the seller of this light.

I am thinking about offering about $35 for this light. I would like to read something from somebody who has this light.

Post up somebody. :)

4000 Lumens 3 XML's any one wantto buy a bridge

Do a search, this series is definitely not worth it.

They say a "hint to the wise is sufficient" :)

However, I am quite sure this is JUNK, but has anybody purchased one and found that out?

Also, in my search, the seller is kind of shaky too.. Dam, that $42 is drawing me in like a worm does a fish.. :) But, I am going to keep digging until I find somebody that has one...

Thanks for the hints, well appreciated... ;)

Didn't someone just get this as a "Beamtech" from Tmart? Seemed to me it was kinda junky and not driven very hard.

yes

I guess it you really like the body, and feel like building a driver and improving heatsinking, then go for it...

The 26650 Thread #44 Kajman

.....

Flashlight is good quality outside, GITD,nice coating and colour. I almost don;t have any black flashlights due to recent trends now Dropin poor quality, it doesn't have enough good contact to the rest of the body, driver is 20mm step up, 5 modes (low mode is not really low), 2.4A on fully charged cell, 1.35A on 3.2v, so it is not very bright at the moment. I have to switch leds to parallel and give some 5.5A AMC7135 driver and we will se what this baby can. Anyway it has big spill, so it will be a flooder.

....

Yow!!! Go read:

Has anybody dared to bite the bullet and buy this flashlight????

The vender/seller has really went off. His first ad was for $42.99 with free shipping for this light. Now, in some instances, he has it listed for $82.99. I think he is hoping that for the higher price, buyers would not be so leary in getting this light. He also has ads listed for the same light at $44.99 with free shipping. He has done away with the $42.99..

Again, has anybody got this light???

On Ebay, the vendor listed 85 sold. So, it seems nobody on BLF has one..Embarassed

I thought this flashlight and another brand that I can't recall are the same thing and proved to have bad thermal dissipation. The drop-in makes almost no contact with the body. Can someone confirm this?

I have not seen one iteration of this 3-XML light with a good thermal path from the pill to the body. They are all just drop in floating on a spring design. Passing on this one, unless theres a version out there that actually does sink the heat away from the LEDs.
