Should this be forward clicky??

I´ve been ordering these, 4 pcs now:

My own L2 2011 is a reverse clicky. Why?

If this should be a forward one, why do they have a different one sold as forward clicky:

I don't understand what SF is doing with the switches. It seems like they want them to all be forwards. The L2P was reverse, the new L2P came out and it was reverse as well (for like a month) and then they switched it. I even have a couple new style L2P tails that I bought that came with the reverse clicky.

The "2011" L2 that I have (and love) is a reverse and I don't see the point in having the regular 2011 L2 be forward if you offer it with the S10 tailcap which is nearly identical.

Makes no sense to me, but I can live with them either way. I have both and it doesn't bother me although I slightly favor the reverse.

I like the fitment on reverse better.
It is not so hard to press and less free travel under rubber cap…

Are you sure this is the exact one you ordered? I have had solarforce-sales tell me that this one is a reverse clicky. Does it have a matte black finish? Is it the one from this review?

Did you get the 4 forwards recently?

Yes, taht precise item.

Item is the same in my profile´s buy-history.

4pcs are bought "recently", to be precise 3 this year and one 2011 december.

Do you think they should be reverse ones?

the only problem I have with fwd in the L2T clicky doesn't work with the utrafire 3 mode drop-in..works fine with everything else..my 2011 L2m is a reverse clicky..

I like both clickies and really don't have a solid preference..I use both and enjoy both..sf are probably just trying to accommodate the masses and fwd may be the clear winner from their stand point..would be cool if they offered both models and you could choose when you bought..

I was told this 2011 L2 was reverse clicky and also the older L2 ones.  I really want an L2P but I am a bit put off by the forward clicky.


Do you have a Manafont UF drop in you can try in these?

Did you hear anything back on this? My manafont drop in and trustfire batteries are on the way but I am hesitant on buying a forward clicky solarforce.

I received my forward clicky L2P a week ago.
I only tested it briefly but didn't seem to be any problems with my Manafont UF dropin :)

So I guess they are supposed to be forward clickies. Too bad, liked reverse more in some cases.
