Xm lt6 c8 vs. wf502b

hi all. Ive got an xml t6 502b light, and recently ordered an xml t6 c8. Was wondering how much more of a spot the c8 has vs the 502b. Thanks in advance.

I'm waiting for a C8 so I cannot tell.

But 502b is the body - it says nothing about the emitter or the reflector. Could you provide information about the dropin (the interchangeable module)? Or maybe a link to the flashlight you have?

Other people may be able to compare based on that...

My wf-502b has an xm-L t6. With a standard reflector. The c8 I ordered has an xm-L t6 also with a standard reflector. I was wanting to know which has more of a spot type.beam. Im assuming the c8 does because of its bigger reflector.

Your assumption is correct .

C8 will definitely be a thrower. My 502b, well any p60 host, gives a useful broad wall of light, while my C8 has a tight hotspot, a wider still bright second corona and a dimmer spill.

one thing that i am sure that you will definitely surprise of how bright is the c8.

good choice...
