Solarforce L2m stainless steel

I see Bestofferbuy have a stainless steel L2m for $23. I'm rather overspent on lights just now or I'd be tempted.

It is one heavy light - 375g empty. Not one for the high-heat dropins. Good with silly bright incan bulbs though.

Edit: Oops, forgot the URL

I think it's kinda pricey given it's just the host with no dropin.

Don't thing so. The head (stainless steel) alone is over $20, and this is A001 head. Anyway, ordered one. Don, thank's for the link Smile

According to what I can see on the Solarforce website it is legitimate: http://www.solarforce.hk/PRD/main.jsp

By the way, here is the price at SBFlashlights:

I'm curious, the BestOfferBuy shows images of both L2m and the extended version, but description said it is 132 mm long and the weight is 375 g. I hope I will get the long one.

This or the L2X? It's going for about the same on ebay.

Used to sell for like $80 +

A stainless head is $20  , so for $23   , L2X is more ....

Dont see much stainless anymore , so could be the last of them ...

They also had them auctioned on ebay for about that price. I can't quite get over the looks though, and got a L2m instead which were half the price. The silver/gray finish on L2's is seriously nice.

I placed an order for this, but I have my doubts they will ever ship.

With $2 shipping the L2p is the same checkout price as it was when they had free shipping though. Still a good price.

This l2m is not stainless steel limited edition. It's just normal L2m silver/grey that used to sell for 15$ or so.

Compare that with cpf pictures.

They have actually changed the listing - it did show the stainless steel light and the weight of 375g.  Guess they only had a few or one of them actually in stock.

Or it was a mistaken listing. This was an item that sold for close to $100....

I had no intention of buying one - too heavy and too large for EDC. But, like you, I now wonder if they ever had more than one of them.

I looked at these after I had ordered my black 16340 L2 with a5 mode r2 for 14.30?? from these guys   I figured it was a good Lego start for me and it had an emitter ..I had been stumbling thru the solorforce  web site juggling which body to buy(questioning the cheaper sand versions ) and opted for basic cheap black . I can't tell if it's a fake or not and consider that a good thing ..It's a nice lil light and bright as hell.throws obviously like a monster ..Enough that my mce 502b carrying friend raised his eyebrows and said .. wow..!!! He was all into his 502b...and although I like the rest of the world like it I knew it wasn't gonna be super lego'able so I opted for the solorforce lego as my first light over 10 bucks ..I'm happy with it but ..Did stare at the stainless steel for hours and hours ..Sadly no one ever says anything good about stain;less steel lights except they are pretty ....cept maybe mcgizmo stuff

I actually own 8 SS lights and like them all a lot.

Just none that size. In AA/AAA/CR123 size they have a nice heft, above that they get to be too heavy for comfort. And that is speaking as someone who owns, and occasionally uses, two 6D Maglites.

I rather fancy a solid tungsten light - but that would have to be AAA or smaller.
