Does anyone have any opinions on this torch? It looks good to me and if the specs are anywhere near accurate, then it should be pretty bright.

Looks like one of those $1 ebay lights, I wouldnt buy it. Especially as it has a LED from the world famous manufacturer "Generic Chinese"

It look pretty good though! doesn't it? reminds me of a tank or something. 150 Dinolumens, not sure what that is in ANSI probably 50 or so. I might buy one just to see. It's only 2/3rds of a fake review! For 150 fake lumens! Bargain!

One DinoDirect customer reviewer (Pavel Pokatilov) said, "The light output is much smaller then 150 lm."

Another reviewer (Henry Kong) said, "The advertise 150 lumens is not correct. The maximum output of this flashlight using a single 1.5v AA battery is somewhere near the 45-50 lumens range."

So sometimes the reviews on DinoDirect are actually useful!

The funny thing is I read the reviews on DD and they are all real! But I don't think Ill bother with it.

I bought it around xmas. It's in the neighborhood of 30 lumens, by my guesstimate.

You can find very similar lights for $2.5-3 on ebay, there are other threads with similar lights here on BLF. Instead of ordering 1 for $5, find those threads and get 2. Not bad for a spare light in the car or to keep in the basement permanently. If your cell leaks after 3 years just throw it all away. :)

This is actually a quite decent AA cheap flashlight. Just a bit too expensive at DD at the moment.
