Was repairing some lights ... [ one was a Jetbeam ]

Now you might think that buying a top grade light = trouble free !

Well , such is not life .. This light was left with me for repairs a few months ago [ yeah , Im slow , too much school work ]

Any how , some more pictures :

Here you can clearly see the problem : Bear wire exposed [ bad wiring ]

Hmmm , Jetbeam !!! Im a little surprised by the construction method .. Dont get me wrong , definitely a quality product [ sans bad wiring ]

Also got a X9 to repair :

Solder point actually looks to have been ripped of the PCB

Was that pill on the jetbeam glued is or was it easy to take apart? Nice pics.

Not glued ! = Just thermal compound under the emitter base
