I think this was a GREAT BUY for me, and IMHO, puts me up to an honest Level 1 Apprentice Budgeteer!! These are my 7th, 8th and 9th torches, maybe 10. I dunno, but since I don't know the exact number of torches I have, I have really do deserve my title!!
Anyway, I got them off Ebay.. One a so-called 1600 Lum, runing on a 18650. All my torches are for bicycle applications. With that said, I like the thin tube of the 18650 opposed to the thicker tube of the 26650, which doesn't mount as well.
The bigger grey one, I paid $34.95 free shipping with two cheapo cells and charger.. Loving the way it looks, feels, and just flashed it couple times, and it seems right on..The other two were $17.99 each with free shipping.. Shipping time was a exact 2 weeks from China.
It has a good quality feel, greylike finish. I really like this one.. Think I will go for another to get a pair..
The other two are just like my Keygos Ke-1 and Ke-5.. Have no name brand on any of them..
I really like the gray one. I don't know if it's a clone or not, but it looks like the XinTD without the extension tube. That's a real beauty. I hope you can post some beam shots.
That is what other posters said about this light. I am no judge of quality, as I am a newbie, but this light looks good and feels good. If I get a chance some beam shots tonight. I am not that good at beam shots but I can aim it at the garage door and the street and take some shots. Will see..
Hi Cehoward...Can you do me a favor and see if the grey torch works with 3 "AAA" batteries. I read somewhere, can't recall where, if an 18650 isn't available, 3 "AAA" will run this light, perhaps on the lower levels.
BTW...nice bike. Make sure you snap a photo for us once it's mounted.
Richie, I do have a torches that run off of 3 "AAA" and have the carrier to put them in. However, that carrier is to big to fit. On the grey torch a Hi Max 2600 fits nice and snug. No room around it at all. The 3 "AAA" carrier is too big.
Classic Tennessee Ti... hard to go wrong there. Anyway, I agree that few things are as fun and rewarding as a night ride, but, really? No general purpose/ EDC lights? How do you check under the bed for monsters?
I do, I do.. I just angled that up so the beam could hit the center of the garage door for beam shots. The shot of the bike in the street is the way I have all my torches angled on my bikes. The beam be hitting about 20 to 25 feet in front.
Getting ready to go for night ride with the wife. She is jogging, and carrying a Keygos M12, I be on the bike with a Keygos Ke-1 on the helmet, and that XinTD copy up front..This will be my first ride with a torch on my helmet too. Should be fun..
Well, I ordered two more flashlights yesterday. Both of them greyish, I like the looks of both.
The first one, was this same one, minus the charger and the cheapo cells.. $27.99 free shipping..
This will make me have a pair of this light.. IMO, pairs look good on bikes..
This one, just reading a thread talking about this light. When I saw it, I went for it. It is a full 26650 baby. I like the looks of this one too! whereas, the one above is a full 18650..
If I take count, this will move me up to about 11 lights, all 18650/26650(s)..
