DX got some new lights in, including a 3*AA XM-L light in 2 versions:
UltraFire SH-3AA, 28$ -- link -- referral link

They seem pretty much the same except for the brand. Cheaper than our beloved C88, but probably not that massive. I think I need to get one. Probably the UltraFire. Will compare it to the Cyclone C88.
BTW, there's are some interesting and nice looking "Skilhunt" lights, quite pricey but maybe worth a look. They have two buttons: Tailcap clicky for on/off, side button for modes.
